Family literacy programs provide parents with ideas, tools and strategies that build on the strengths of the family, helping them to help their children through the different stages.

Rhythm & Rhyme

Are you and your baby ready to get out and meet new people while learning songs, rhymes and tips for development? This is a program for caregivers and babies:

  • newborn to 12 months
  • newborn to 15 months
  • 12-24 months

Seniors and Babies Rhythm and Rhyme

Experience how much joy your brand new baby can offer. Show them off while sharing in rhymes, songs and early literacy strategies with seniors. For parents/caregivers with babies 0-15 months. Seniors fully participate in the program.

Book Buddies & Food Fun

Book Buddies allows the magic of sharing stories come alive while making books out of household items.

Food Fun is designed to explore food while learning basics for cooking with kids.

This is a program for caregivers and children 3-5 years old.

Toddler Time

Children will enjoy and learn language through rhymes, finger plays, music, songs, activities and simple stories. Parents/caregivers are the most important part of literacy building and are asked to stay with the children during the class. Siblings are welcome.
